We would like to submit a recommended procedure adenotomy preoperative examinations before and TE in children, which was created as a consensus of professional societies (Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery JEP, professional practice by pediatricians JEP, Czech Pediatric Society JEP, Czech Society of Anaesthesiology , Resuscitation and Intensive Medicine, Czech Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the Czech Haematology Society CLS JEP).
The aim of the recommended procedure is to increase the safety of children operated on, there is no need for regulation with respect only to that procedure. Rather, it is necessary that at every workplace where adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy performed, arranged the relevant specialty, which selects the procedure for the preparation of the child before the operation. The recommended procedure is only one option.
