Dear members of the
Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery JEP,
of 3 February 2011 in 14 hours and held a plenary meeting of members of the Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery JEP, which the committee may submit for approval of a draft report on the activities of the Committee for the past 3 years (Prof. Kostřica) and a proposal for a civic association. After several committee meetings at the ENT society and the annual meetings of the independent member of the ENT, the committee voted at its meeting on 1 December 2010, take the opportunity for companies to ensure Guarant International conventions and other important event, getting sponsors and other activities of the company. This activity does not conflict with the statutes and regulations JEP and it does not mean that the traditional organization of Czech doctors climb. We were inspired by the example of other professional societies, which already operates as a civil association, but still remain members of the JEP. Therefore, to the Conference Secretariat to cooperate with the ENT society, it is necessary to establish a civic association, which will mediate and coordinate mutual activities. Contract with the Conference Secretariat will be yet one year and at the end of this period, the committee will evaluate the experience and decide on a possible extension of this contract. Plenary meeting should answer the question whether members of the Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery JEP agrees with the Committee and its voice to the emergence of civic associations. Therefore, the participation of as many members on this very important plenary session.
